• The movie ends on a high with Dhoni’s six at Wankhede stadium and it does give you goosebumps. Tight screenplay and good performances makes this one a good watch.

  • The film makes you yawn in few portions but it soon recovers as the director manages to get it back on track.

  • Akshay Kumar impresses but the movie has its issues…His nuanced characterisation and flawless body language save the film which otherwise could have gone horribly wrong.

  • This is an out and out pot boiler film which does have its moment where logic can be questioned. But as long as the film keeps you entertained, it won’t hurt watching this film.

  • Don’t watch Udta Punjab because it was embroiled in controversies but because its a story not many would have dared to tell.

  • Watch it for the raw display of human drama and the realistic approach to many situations which has been missing at the movies for sometime now.

  • Overall, the film takes you on an emotional ride and makes you question a lot about the political crisis between two countries. It is up to the audience to judge whether Sarabjit was an Indian spy or an innocent farmer. However, his journey is something that must be experienced in the theaters.

  • At the idea level, the makers have partially succeeded in ensuring that the film keeps you at the edge of your seat.

  • All in all, action sequences are fun to watch, but when too much action is accompanied with poor screenplay, it becomes unbearable, despite your lead actor’s ability to kick butt.

  • Randeep Hooda gets into the skin of the nitty gritty of the character and holds the entire film on his own shoulder.
