• If you want nothing more than an enjoyable action-comedy without much sense, give Khiladi 786 a watch.

  • Ajay Devgn does his best to be the endearing sardar in this masala flick. Go for the laughs and over-the-top action scenes, though it can get repetitive and tedious.

  • 1920 Evil Returns has nothing new to offer, but if you do want to watch a scary movie for the heck of it, then go ahead.

  • Chakravyuh tries to grapple with too many nexuses in the movie, but gets bogged down with the script and mediocre performances.

  • Delhi Safari is a welcome change from the regular mythology/modern-take-on-mythology. Though it may not match up to international standards, the humour element and Alex-Bajrangi make it an enjoyable watch.

  • Student Of The Year has some really earnest performances and entertaining comedy scenes. Other than that it’s a staple Karan Johar affair: ridiculous in parts and dramatic in others.

  • There are no two ways about it and we’re not even bothering with a pun this time: KLPD is a painful watch that’s better avoided.

  • For once, there’s a movie that wants you to use your brains instead of just clapping and whistling away at the mindless action/sex scenes. Watch OMG Oh My God also because it has good performances and an interesting concept.

  • Kareena Kapoor does a good job and, heck, you even get to see her in a pseudo lesbian scene along with other steamy scenes. If that’s enough to drag you to see Heroine, go ahead. Give it a miss otherwise.

  • Raaz 3 has its share of scares but it annoys you in the second half.
