• THE BEGINNING OF GLORIOUS HISTORICAL INDIAN CINEMA [HTTPS://AMITKHER.GURU/BAHUBALI]
Got released on the 10th July 2015 will surely be remembered as a golden moment for Indian Cinema. Amidst I LOVE NY, GUDDU RANGEELA as new offerings together with ABCD 2, TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS, HAMARI ADHURI KAHANI, DIL DHADAKNE DO & THODA LUTF UTHAO, BAHUBALI stands tall shining as good as the idol monument.
Bahubali actually is and certain to be a viewers first choice beating all above including hollywood current offerings as the JURASSIC WORLD, TERMINATOR GENISYS, INSIDE OUT, INSIDOUS CHAPTER 3, HERMITAGE REVEALED & MAX.
In line with K. Asif’s MUGHAL-E-AZAM, Ashutosh Gowarikar’s JODHA AKBAR, Manmohan Desai’s Dharam Veer, Manoj Kumar’s Kranti and a few others BAHUBALI is much beyond expectation of a viewer across the globe. Featured action, adventure, ancient warfare reminds of the glorious past last known to Indian history of kingdoms dating around 100BC. Though it is not said to relate any mythology, historical character or epic however resemblance… is purely co-incidental. Similarities of one or the other aspect can be noticed with movies namely Avatar,Troy, 300(spartans), lord of the rings, the scorpion king or mummy and character resemblances to Shri balaram & Shri krishna, Hanumanji, Bheeshma, Duryodhan, Shakuni, etc for you to figure out. There are loads of action thrill moments and a full fledge war scene as long as 30 minutes to engage you in a unique breathtaking experience.
Prabhas plays lead cast as Shiva a second generation BAHUBALI. A super human prince and king in the making with all the flexibility, physique and strength no less than Krissh. Shiva takes up an initial mission of mountain climbing being motivated on the way through by a fabulous fairy. Shiva alias BAHUBALI finds way up sooner than expected where his own mission aligns to that of his finally discovered warrior sweetheart Avantika played by Tammana Bhatia. Shiva responds to the fairy’s call being of urgent concern rather than that of his own estranged and captivated mother calling from a long distance.
Tamanna adds up all the glamour to the first half while falling for BAHUBALI in an on the spot romance. Romantic acts are artfully done, featured in between exquisite costumes, look, locations and set designs. Memorable ! A group of ‘items’ act to keep it going in the second half well done too.
Finally BAHUBALI gets through the mountains to discover a kingdom of magnanimouns splendour to find his own biological mother captivated. Audience is treated with the best visualisation composed of grandeur, politics, revolt, revenge, rivalty, atrocity, loyalty, clan, vanity, beliefs, treachery, weaponry and warfare. The beginning sums up to a developed plot nailed by all well played characters being unveiled a bit late during the early second half laid a very strong foundation for the conclusion part of BAHUBALI scheduled for next year. The same may be expected to be epicly great and entertaining as well.
Ramaya Krishna(n) well known to the bollywood for the Khalnayak number plays a Mahanayak as a queen and loyal guardian together with Sathya Raj as Kattapa fiercely loyal field marshall. Both display a strength of character and unflinching loyalty to the kingdom of Mahishmati.
On the opposite there are Rana Dagubatti playing Bhallal Dev as a runner up to throne of Mahishmati v/s BAHUBALI 1 as envisaged by a wicked Bijjaladeva played by Mohammed Hanif alias Nasser. Even more enhancement to the wickedness by the rival army of 100 thousand tribals and their cheif. The make over of the Devasena so terrified is good enough to put horror movies of Indian cinema to shame. The scene involving captivation of Shiva followed by action in the dark is never before mind boggling cinematography.
BAHUBALI raises the overall standard of film making of Indian cinema manyfold generally. Is particulary perfect with regards to every technical aspect. Notable and creditworthy are the works of back end teams who would not just settle for anything. Loads of credits to this award winning production including make up and looks, cinematography aspects, locations, action scene and effects, warrior costumes and weaponry design, costumes, all music, choreography, set designs and various arts.
BAHUBALI benchmarks Indian cinema to hollywood standard and is good enough to be viewed a number of times.
You should spend a little time of your busy schedule to watch BAHUBALI at least once.
