There is a generous sprinkling of the F word, and juvenile phrases : one is unraveled, for those who do not know, as Kilometer Litre Petrol Diesel. Groan.

‘Shakal Pe Mat Ja’ is a mixture of crass comic sequences where the audience should not look for any sensible content. Watch it if you are a habitual film viewer and would not mind laughing in bits.

The film essentially had in it to be a humble entertainer but it’s unfortunate that the potential couldn’t be tapped appropriately. So Shakal Pe Mat Ja… apni akal lagaa.

  • On the whole, Shakal Pe Mat Ja is a poor show from start to finish and will meet with a disastrous fate.

  • This is a movie on terrorist and terrorism. Supposedly, a soft take. A comedy of sorts. There’s Omama, and Al Baquaida. There are also humorous references to airplanes and its use in terror attacks. All very good. But the line of humour is so amateurish that it borders on the absurd.

The end product leaves a lot to be desired. If you plan to skip this one, don’t worry, you aren’t missing out on anything.
