• Wonder Woman is the perfect balance of humour, romance and action. When the Amazon princess meets a man for the first time, she is filled with curiosity.

  • Hindi Medium may use over-dramatised events to make its message hit home, but in spite of its hiccups, the film is not bogged down because of the performances and the humour.

  • The first half is engaging enough, but loses its way post the interval. There are loose ends which are never tied, and by the time the climax comes, you have pretty much figured out how it is going to end.
    Although a maverick filmmaker, RGV has had several hits and misses in his career. The (hopefully) last film of the Sarkar trilogy, unfortunately, is one of the misses.

  • While in Baby, the climax is almost nail-biting, Naam Shabana makes it all too easy to get rid of the bad guy. If you want to watch Naam Shabana, do; just make sure you don’t go in with the expectation of watching a riveting action-thriller like Baby.

  • Commando 2 does not explore a novel theme – it’s the classic good vs evil – but the high-voltage action makes this an entertaining one for fans of the genre.
