Aryabhatt Ka Zero

Aryabhatt Ka Zero pleasantly surprises because it's led by a talented ensemble cast, with quirky one-liners, and a concept that brings a quirky twist to the whole UPSC/IAS aspirant saga.

Decent writing, a relatable storyline and convincing performances make Aryabhatt Ka Zero an easy and engaging watch.

Aryabhatta Ka Zero is a clean, simple film that delivers a positive message, reminding viewers that a person's failures do not define their identity. However, its familiar storyline and weaker second half prevent it from reaching the heights it aspires to.

The film has been directed by Kamal Chandra, who tries his level best to live up to his name (Kamaal), but sadly falters in a bunch of places. Despite all this, he does succeed in making the film relatable. A few scenes notwithstanding, this film needs to be watched with family.

And then there are films like Aryabhatt Ka Zero, which are as aimless as their lead character. On my personal list of 'Films That Have No Reason To Exist', this one surely ranks somewhere.

Himansh Kohli delivers a sincere performance, while emotional family moments and relatable storytelling give the film its heart.
