Beta is a 1992 Hindi movie directed by Indra Kumar that featured the pairing of Madhuri Dixit with Anil Kapoor in lead roles. The film was a remake of Kannada film, Mallammana Pavada , starring Rajkumar, and B. Saroja Devi. It was remade to Telugu as Abbaigaru, and again to Kannada as Annayya, starring Ravichandran and Madhubala.
