Synopsis
Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! , also known as HAHK, is a 1994 Indian musical romantic comedy family drama film directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya, and produced by Rajshri Productions. It is a remake of Rajshri's 1982 film Nadiya Ke Paar. The film tells the story of two Indian families and the relationships between them, celebrating Indian culture using modern production values. Madhuri Dixit and Salman Khan did the lead roles. The soundtrack was scored by Raamlaxman, while the lyrics were penned by Ravinder Rawal and Dev Kohli. The film was dubbed into Telugu as Premalayam. Earning over INR1.35 billion (US$21 million) worldwide, the film became the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time and held the record for 7 years. During the 1995 awards season, the film won 5 Filmfare Awards as well as the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.Wikipedia
