Humraaz

Humraaz is a 2002 Bollywood romantic thriller film directed by duo Abbas-Mustan. It stars Bobby Deol, Akshaye Khanna and Amisha Patel in lead roles. It is based on the 1954 Hollywood Movie "Dial M For Murder" by Alfred Hitchcock. The same theme was used in an earlier Hindi movie "Aitbaar"(1985) directed by Mukul Anand. The 1998 Hollywood Movie "A Perfect Murder" was also a remake of the original Classic "Dial M For Murder". Karan (Akshaye Khanna) and Priya (Amisha Patel) are the lead pair of a dance troupe and are in love with each other. They land a gig on a cruise ship owned by a rich businessman named Raj (Bobby Deol). Raj, who is attracted to Priya at first sight. He quickly falls for Priya and she is totally swept off her feet. While Karan is unaware, Raj continues to romance and woo Priya. Eventually Raj proposes and she eagerly agrees to marry him.
