Iqbal which was the best sports drama this year. It worked both as an engaging drama about cricket, because sure India is a cricket-loving country, and also a motivating inspirational film, where the performers ring to truth. Naseeruddin Shah and Ritesh Deshmukh are the stars of the film which tells the story of a 'goonga-behra' (deaf and mute) man who wants to be a cricket player. This isn't a moving film, but it'll surely work for you because of its ambitions to tell an effective story. Nagesh Kuknoor is indeed a great filmmaker, and he proves his metal without clunkiness.
