Debojyoti Mishra is an Indian film composer. He became popular with his minimalist classical compositions for the Hindi film Raincoat, directed by Rituparno Ghosh. He also worked on a Bengali film, Chaturanga, a Suman Mukhopadhyay direction. The songs he composed for the Bengali movie Autograph starring Prasenjit Chatterjee, Nandana Sen and Indraneil Sengupta, gained immense popularity. The most popular song was "Amake Aamar Moto Thakte Dao", sung by Anupam Roy. He has also composed music for the Malayalam film Calcutta News, which was set in Kolkata. The musician has expressed his talent through painting also. He is self-taught artist and exhibited his first solo show in December 2012 in ICCR Kolkata by one of youngest art curator of India, Jyotirmoy Bhttacharya. Jyotirmoy is the first person who noticed his talent as a painter from the casual drawings and criss-crosses on the pages of his score books. He inspired the composer to turn as a painter.
