• …an absolute winner that keeps you hooked completely right till the end. It is definitely a must watch movie this weekend.

  • PIXELS is light, fun watch for the fans of the 80s arcade games. Don’t expect anything spectacular from it though.

  • On the whole, despite a few scientific drawbacks (read loopholes), ANT-MAN cannot really be compared to or for that matter measured with same yardstick used to gauge other superhero films. However, standing on its own ANT-MAN makes for a fun watch, developing a character that can more than live up to being one of the Avengers.

  • BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN is a not to be missed ‘Eid’ treat from Salman Khan and Kabir Khan. The film is a surefire hit and has got ‘B-L-O-C-K-B-U-S-T-E-R’ written all over it. This film easily qualifies to be Salman Khan’s BEST movie till date, featuring his career’s best performance. The film wins you over completely. Do not skip.

  • But what got us the most was the stunning voiceover performance from Sandra Bullock. Despite being a definite far cry from her usual films and roles, Bullock does a good job with Scarlett, bringing a human dimension to an animated character. With notable references to pop culture and conspiracy theories thrown in among the gags, MINIONS is a treat for both the adults and kids.

  • …despite having a first half that is rather slow, and a ballistic second half, a film like BAHUBALI makes you proud that an Indian filmmaker dared to dream big and accomplished it. BAHUBALI is definitely not to be missed. Call it a box-office blockbuster today, but tomorrow, it will be remembered as a classic.

  • The shaky camera notwithstanding in a handful of places, the film’s cinematography (James Fowlds) too is very average

On the whole, GUDDU RANGEELA is quite ‘colourless’ and offers nothing new.

  • …its writer-director Vinod Kapri has tried his best to adapt a real life incident into a film. But what seems to be playing spoilsport in the film is the lack of direction. Because of the lack of strong directorial prowess, the film seems a bit out of place in today’s context. While the first half of the film sets up the mood and the tempo of the film, the second half starts lagging and dragging at many places. The film’s direction also starts going astray at places.

  • …the makers manage to paint an excellent juxtaposition between the mundane human world and the complexity of the human mind. On the outside, the film presents a very drab setting to Riley’s San Francisco life, an uncharacteristic setting of the normally captivating Pixar. The mind, however, is a vibrant world that is an excellent blend of organic, mechanical, industrial and fantasy.

  • …makes for a good viewing and this film will surely find its way to its target audience – the youth, as the film has the right mix of content and visuals in it.
