SS Rajamouli presents the period drama from the 1900s by painting the world with a fresh brush, creating visuals that one has never experienced on the big screen as far as Indian cinema is concerned. While the first half is an edge of the seat drama with spectacular action sequences, the second half dips in pace as the relatively weak conflict starts to reflect, with repetitive sequences that slow down momentum.
