RRR has everything to become a blockbuster at the box office and is a film that should be watched only on the big screen

RRR is a great addition to Rajamouli's filmography and it is delightful to see a director stand his ground and a make a film without any compromises despite having two star heroes up front.

RRR is a terrific film with brilliant performances and amazing set-pieces. Director SS Rajamouli's RRR is an epic war drama featuring Ram Charan and Jr NTR in lead roles, with both actors delivering career-best performances.

RRR has a fabulous first half and a slightly underwhelming, but thoroughly engaging second half. If you are a fan of either of the stars, watching RRR is a no brainer decision. In case, you are not, the grandeur, larger than life making makes it a sure shot watch.

SS Rajamouli presents the period drama from the 1900s by painting the world with a fresh brush, creating visuals that one has never experienced on the big screen as far as Indian cinema is concerned. While the first half is an edge of the seat drama with spectacular action sequences, the second half dips in pace as the relatively weak conflict starts to reflect, with repetitive sequences that slow down momentum.

RRR is not perfection by any means because after the way Rajamouli pulls off certain scenes, you wonder if he could've done a better job in others.

RRR is technically brilliant and the efforts taken in putting the small details perfect could be seen in each and every frame of the movie. Ram Charan evolved as one of the best performers with RRR, while NTR keeps the intensity bar up and above in a new dimension. The plot could have been deeper than it is, but the presence of two terrific actors and their full-on performances are the selling points here.

RRR is Rajamouli's most underwhelming film yet in terms of an emotional connect. The director sure knows how to extract performances from his cast and the use of VFX and 3D technology is notches above anything that's been done in India, but the story lacks the emotional core that stood out in his previous films.

SS Rajamouli, Ram Charan, Jr NTR make a lavish meal of a fairly simple storyline. Ram Charan and Jr NTR's offscreen friendship and camaraderie seep into their onscreen performances, and the organic transformation from strangers to brothers-in-arms has been captured beautifully.

Delirious is the word to describe S.S. Rajamouli's Indian action-adventure film that has become a worldwide phenomenon both in theaters and on Netflix since its summer release. Wildly entertaining for every minute of its three hour-plus running time, RRR has become one of India's highest-grossing films of all time and is now generating Oscar buzz.

...no matter how ridiculously any of these moments read on paper, they fit perfectly with the film’s emotional reality, in which love and righteousness flow through the characters like electric superpowers, allowing them to achieve extraordinary, face-melting feats that will leave even the most hardened and cynical viewers feeling childishly giddy.

There is a story that can potentially move you, make you weep for the characters — but it lies buried beneath the overarching effort to mount one visual spectacle after another. RRR made me wonder if in a bid to keep scaling up, Rajamouli the storyteller is taking a backseat.

Jr NTR and Ram Charan with their vociferous performances and easy camaraderie leave us enthralled. But it's only Rajamouli who can conjure up the visual magic that makes us want to stay with their story even when it at times appears over zestful and melodramatic.
