Hindi cinema isn’t known for making good horror comedies. But, well, Stree changes that. It has got something for everybody. The film is brilliantly hilarious and scary. The plot leaves a lot of questions unanswered at the end. You find yourself rewinding the story in your head searching for explanations. Despite its confusions, Stree deserves a watch and an excellent word-of-mouth.

If you found Happy Bhag Jayegi quite entertaining, you are in for a little disappointment with Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi. It, however, successfully makes you laugh, and that’s what should count at the end of the day.

Till India as an audience does not get comfortable with the idea of watching a film like Lipstick Under My Burkha with the whole family, let’s be thankful that we have a Mubarakan. The film has great potential to appeal to family audience (in fact the first family entertainer of Bollywood in 2017). So gang up and go watch!

Apart from Ranbir Kapoor’s dazzling act and his chemistry with ex-flame Katrina Kaif, the film deserves a watch for its brave, unique attempt. Anurag Basu promised us a musical, adventurous journey and he successfully managed to keep the itinerary interesting.

It is one of the best films of 2017. Go watch it for a gripping, and emotionally moving story and some brilliant performances.

The film gets predictable at many crucial points, and even though there is a master twist in the second half, you know what to expect. Also, the director went a little OTT with the ‘Yakeen’ part. I won’t be surprised to find memes about the same once the film hits screens.

A fan or not – Sachin: A Billion Dreams is a must watch for every Indian. It will inspire you to chase your dreams and fill your heart with immense pride.

The action sequences with seamless teleporting are perfectly choreographed and the visuals along with the video effects are astutely laid with Wyatt Smith and Sabrina Plisco’s fine edits. Ben Davis’s cinematography is fuzzy in parts. The two brief end-credits teasers give us a taste of things to come. And, overall, “Doctor Strange” will appeal only to Marvel fans, for others it would be a rather outlandish entertainment.

Overall, “Trolls” is infectious, as it is not too preachy while balancing the universal truth about happiness. It will appeal to children and adults alike.

Apart from the filmmaker, Sushant Singh Rajput deserves applause for acing the body language of Mahi. He sinks deep into the character and barely resorts to employing props (and sappy sentimentality) to make his portrayal of Dhoni totally believable!
