Had Sanjay Leela Bhansali substantiated the love factor and the reasons behind its growing so strong — instead of unnecessary occasions coupled with song and dance, especially the "Dola re Dola" sequel "Pinga" — Bajirao Mastani could have been a parallel to Jodha-Akbar.
