Greenland 2: Migration takes itself seriously in all the wrong ways; it wants to maintain a safe distance from the real world, while urging the audience to shed a tear over some imagined nobility. This sequel doubles down on its predecessor's earnestness, to the point of alternating between grimly offing side characters at random and then getting all maudlin about its own pitilessness.

The movie around him, however, is ghastly. All told, there's hardly a single smile in Lilo & Stitch '25 not generated through the stolen valor of the earlier screenplay, and hardly a poignant moment that's not more admirably raw in the G-rated version.

A Working Man doesn't reach the giddy highs of Statham's best. It spends too much time futzing with its star's righteous bona fides, and while Statham looks great for his age, his fight sequences become increasingly methodical as the movie goes on, making little use of his trademark athleticism.
