Bandkhor
2026 · Maharashtra Times
Mahesh Manjrekar's written-directed 'Bandkhor' is a story that engages with such questions. This film does not make proclamations, does not claim to bring about a revolution; but rather attempts to look unflinchingly at the small and large struggles that happen daily in women's lives.

Potentially good story marred by poor execution

Bhootam Bhayyam
2026 · Maharashtra Times
Bhootam Bhayyam is the Marathi version of the Malayalam film Romanchm that was a hit there, and it is a film within the framework of horror-comedy. However, the story that stands behind the colourful appearance visible on screen seems so muddled and confused that ultimately this film itself appears to have become 'dizzy'.
