• Delhi Safari is a welcome change from the regular mythology/modern-take-on-mythology. Though it may not match up to international standards, the humour element and Alex-Bajrangi make it an enjoyable watch.

  • Student Of The Year has some really earnest performances and entertaining comedy scenes. Other than that it’s a staple Karan Johar affair: ridiculous in parts and dramatic in others.

  • What’s Good: The superb acting of the entire cast; the Aga bai song; the direction; the general madness in the film. What’s Bad: The sniffing and chasing; the stretched screenplay.Loo Break: Not really.Watch or Not?: Watch Aiyyaa for a quirkily different film with very good performances but be warned that it drags. Aiyyaa is quirkily different and is worth watching for all the characters. But the sniffing and chasing gets a bit annoying.

  • There are no two ways about it and we’re not even bothering with a pun this time: KLPD is a painful watch that’s better avoided.

  • Forget comebacks and special appearances, watch this movie for a woman who steps out of her family’s shadow and learns to love herself.

  • Life Of Pi is a compelling tale of adventure, magic and some stunning visual effects. This boy and tiger deserve a watch.

  • For once, there’s a movie that wants you to use your brains instead of just clapping and whistling away at the mindless action/sex scenes. Watch OMG Oh My God also because it has good performances and an interesting concept.

  • Kareena Kapoor does a good job and, heck, you even get to see her in a pseudo lesbian scene along with other steamy scenes. If that’s enough to drag you to see Heroine, go ahead. Give it a miss otherwise.

  • What’s Good: The spell-binding direction; the wonderful performances; the cinematography and the music. What’s Bad: The movie stretches a bit; the plot gets convoluted in between.Loo Break: None.Watch or Not?: Barfi! is a movie that will tickle you and bring tears to your eyes with equal ease. Don’t miss this sweet story.Barfi! leaves you with that warm, cuddly, magical feeling with a few tears to match. It’s really worth a watch.

  • Raaz 3 has its share of scares but it annoys you in the second half.
