Roshni Mulchandani's Film Reviews
What works big time for Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji is that besides being a romantic comedy, it touches upon a number of social issues too. But of course, it does sell itself as a comedy film which it really is. For a first dabble, Madhur scores high. The situations are not only immensely funny and the one-liners are a complete killer. However, it does lose track midway after which you do tend to lose interest until it finally picks up yet again.
Dhobi Ghat is meant for Mumbai lovers. For good and bad, Mumbai is what it is: home to millions who adore the city which is covered beautifully by Kiran Rao.
…the film is not made with much flair; it is very simple in its execution. There are no fancy camera tricks or overly glamorized sequences. What you see is what you get with Tere Bin Laden but believe me, it is enough to keep you glued to your seat. Watch it for the fun it pokes at a number of serious issues that we normally feel are taboo. Tere Bin Laden is a film that is fearless enough to take on those issues, add the fun spin and make you go ha-ha-hee-hee!
