Productionwise, a few scenes really make you jump in your seats, so I am assuming those took most of the 3-D budget that a few crucial scenes, like the one in the very end, that needed better rendering, suffered. Having scene Karen Gillan throw mean punches in Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, watching the awkward action choreography in her scenes feels jarring.

Please do not compare it to Sidney Lumet’s 1974 version and you will actually be able to enjoy it

It’s a fun family entertainer not worth missing.

The movie is specifically nostalgic about the Victoria and Abdul equation. Don’t go looking for political commentary, you will be disappointed with its mild manners.

Denis Villeneuve deftly picks up the Ridley Scott story and makes it better. Ryan Gosling and Jared Leto’s performance is an added bonus.

Tom Cruise has done something remarkable after spending a lot of time working for action franchises. His anti-hero is more appealing than his heroics with other characters. It’s a refreshing take on the other side of the drugs business in American continents. A fun watch you can add to the weekend to-do list.

This is an experience you cannot miss. When critics and the film fraternity all say that this is the best movie of 2017, they are not wrong.

Andy Serkis delivers yet another stellar performance with motion-capture. If only there was the pace to the story.

Marvel fans will have to watch this because clues for next movies in the line-up are there. Casual moviegoers, it’s a coming-of-age teen story with a superhero twist. Worth your time and money.
