The film is heavy on needless action which may be appealing only to a specific set of fans. Overall, Pushpa 2: The Rule does not add anything new to the barrage of similar south characters, nor the action showcased by the entertainment industry.

Phone Bhoot isn't the perfect choice, but it is worth a watch for a chill-out session when you are tipsy with your friends. The jokes based on gen z life, 90s references, and many product placements are bound to bring back nostalgia and make you giggle but they don't always land.

There are several triggering moments in the film which make you want to leave, and you should take the cue. You won't miss out on anything. Only harassment scenes are not triggering, scenes with dialogues objectifying women, and blaming them for — essentially being women (existing) should not be accepted in any context.
