• Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore try to spell magic with their chemistry, but not quite.

  • Semi-scary, watch it if films of the genre strike a chord in your heart. The scare affair could have fared a lot better had it been for the less-than obvious, never-seen-before kind of story.

  • Fantasy meets fiction in a dystopian world, and then vanishes into oblivion. Please watch only if the books have appealed to you at some point, but with little expectations.

  • The disinterest that this film created was most appalling, so much so that the lead actor himself didn’t seem too intent on delivering a performance to remember in the film, something that he did not go through with all his heart. The film is based on Kevin Grevioux’s graphic novel by the same name that was in turn based on Mary Shelley’s story on Frankenstein. Perhaps, it simply just lost out on the execution part of it. So tragic.

  • Maybe Keanu Reeves has so been loved as Neo that accepting him as Kai is a bit difficult. All in all, it is a one-time watch. But that’s all. Nothing to take home.

  • The story has a new element attached to it, of demons and gargoyles and one creature (Adam) in the midst of all of this. There is no comparison with the execution of the actual story, however, it is extremely imperative to do justice to an interesting and rather fresh concept such as this. A great concept gone wrong. Watch the film only if you must!
