Wah Taj

Wah Taj

2016 · TheStatesman · Sep 2016

It might be felt that the director has restrained from delving deeper into the farmer issue gripping the country, and a little wider coverage on the issue could have provided the film with more validity, but the sincere effort cannot be brushed away and must be recognised. Wah Taj is a clean and simple story with a message, definitely worth a watch.

Independence Day: Resurgence

Independence Day: Resurgence

2016 · TheStatesman · Jun 2016

Even with all the visual splendours and magnanimous amount of destruction shown on the screen , something that is expected out of a Roland Emmerich film, the lack of a strong plotline, and mediocre dialogues make it rather weak sequel. No amount of glorious digital details will make it any less of a disappointment for the fans of the first Independence Day, which even after two decades seems to be the better one of the two-film franchise.
