Unfortunately, while the former moments are executed excellently, the film mishandles a major part of the narrative, leaving it feeling surprisingly ordinary for one of Marvel's flagship heroes. The biggest disappointment lies in the film's primary antagonist played by Sadie Sink. Although the character draws quite a bit from established comic material, the adaptation rarely expands beyond those foundations.
