Most Divergent Takes

Toy Story 5

Toy Story 5

2026 · The Hindu

In many ways, the fifth part in the popular animated franchise brings back the charm of some of its predecessors. The film ultimately bats for embracing technology with mindfulness without forgetting the older ways of connecting with each other in real-time. Jessie's thoughtful reckoning fuels the film with a humanistic zeal, something that is drifting away quickly in a rampantly digitised world, making the film to be the only one in the franchise to have direct parallels with the dystopian reality of our times.

Peddi

Peddi

2026 · Hindustan Times

At just two films old, Buchi Babu Sana is truly his master's disciple. With the Ram Charan-starrer Peddi, Buchi asks the question of what happens to a man who isn't even given the dignity of any kind of identity in the first place.

Indian 2: Zero Tolerance

Indian 2: Zero Tolerance

2024 · Deccan Chronicle

Legendary actor Kamal Haasan showcased traces of his acting brilliance in his latest offering 'Indian 2', but couldn't salvage a contrived plot, and also the lengthy screenplay tests the audience's patience. Director Shankar turned over-ambitious and the film loses its track as it extends beyond its core mission.

Luv Ka The End

Luv Ka The End

2011 · KoiMoi

The games Rhea, Jugs and Sonia play on Luv are childish and, therefore, do not have the desired impact at many places. The climax is not only very convenient, it is also contrived and confused. Luv Ka The End will not be able to do much at the box-office.

Naughty @ 40

Naughty @ 40

2011 · KoiMoi

The single-screen viewers, particularly the ladies, may enjoy the double-meaning dialogues, but the storyline is thin and the screenplay goes haywire because it runs out of steam pretty fast. On the whole, Naughty @ 40 is a poor fare with dim chances at the multiplexes and ordinary chances at the single-screen cinemas.

Masti Express

Masti Express

2011 · KoiMoi

Masti Express will run out of steam as soon as it enters the theatres. On the whole, Masti Express is too dull to impress at the box-office.

Zokkomon

Zokkomon

2011 · KoiMoi

Zokkomon is a disappointment. It will fail at the box-office. The simplistic and illogical story will entertain neither the children nor the adults; the average acting performances and poor direction are significant drawbacks.

Pyaar Ka Punchnama

Pyaar Ka Punchnama

2011 · KoiMoi

Pyaar Ka Punchnama is for a section of the youth only but that won't be good enough. The serious second half, the lack of heroism of the heroes, and the way the three heroines have been projected as vamps significantly detract from what could have been an entertaining comedy.

I Am Kalam

I Am Kalam

2011 · KoiMoi

I Am Kalam will get critical acclaim and appreciation from the classes but its box-office prospects are rather dull. The slow pace of the narrative, the botched climax, and lack of emotions in the drama are significant drawbacks.

Love Breakups Zindagi

Love Breakups Zindagi

2011 · KoiMoi

Love Breakups Zindagi is a dull fare which will not get much love from the paying public. The excruciatingly slow pace of the drama, the lack of emotions in the film based on relationships, and the lack of novelty make this a tedious viewing experience.

I Am

I Am

2010 · KoiMoi

I Am will prove to be a resounding flop at the ticket windows. The festival-like feel of the film will not go down well with the commercial-minded people who buy tickets to watch the film.
