Adkitta

Writer-director Ashutosh Parandkar takes a fairly familiar modern-marriage problem and gives it an interesting emotional angle. Sakhi Gokhale is the real surprise, who gives her most mature performance yet. The film refuses to tell you whom to blame, as they remain three individuals simply negotiating a situation.

While it starts well, the film bounces from one thing to another, barely scratching the surface in the sub-plots. More importantly, though it shows the struggles of Kasturi as a mother, it almost villainises her for feeling what she does. Simply put, it is Sakhee and Sai's performances that make Adkitta a decent watch.
