Avaraachan & Sons

“Amal Sheela Thamby's Avaraachan and Sons is a 'feel-good slice-of-life' movie that works in parts. The film remain very even throughout, moving with the flow without creating too many waves, but with occassional flashes of brilliance that elevate it. On the whole, Biju Menon's performance makes it a breezy watch.”

“Avaraachan and Sons remains an old-fashioned feel-good film, which serves up exciting bits only once in a while. Much of the film banks on Biju Menon's lazy charm, which easily fits the protagonist, though the portrayal of relationships does not quite hit the potential that it had. If Avaraachan and Sons manages to not be a letdown, credit for that goes to Biju Menon.”
