Characters are not developed enough. You don’t feel for them. Result being, you end up as mere spectators instead of well-wishers. While the film preaches ‘passion’ for whatever you do, it is exactly what seems to be missing from it.

The only two good bits you could find in the movie are the catchy soundtrack and the obviously talented, athletic dancers with insane gymnast skills.

At best the dances in Battle of the Year can be used as a reference point for Remo if he ever decides to make ABCD 2, otherwise wait for it to arrive on home video or on television.
