Marvel's Captain America: Civil War is perhaps the first superhero movie that takes into account the large number of civilian casualties that these vigilante fellows cause and then try to do something about it, which, along with some spectacular action shots, make it an engaging watch despite the same vigilantes causing a great number of non-human destruction around the world. In recent times, Hollywood seems to have gone overdrive in making movies inspired from Marvel & DC comics with many more in the pipeline over the next few years. In this battle for celluloid supremacy, Marvel has been in the driver's seat for quite some time with blockbusters being a routine phenomenon from their universe. DC's hope to challenge "The Avengers" with "Batman vs Superman" turned out to be a whimsical thought as the latter failed to rise to expectations. Now Marvel is back with "Captain America: Civil War" whose trailer was simply brilliant to say the least. So will Marvel consolidate its numero uno spot even more emphatically???

A year has passed since the Avengers had decimated Ultron in Sokovia but it happened at the cost of extensive collateral damage. This intimidates the world leaders to draft the Sokovia Accords whereby the Avengers will be put under the supervision of the UN. To make matters worse, Captain America's (Chris Evans) mission to thwart Brock Rumlow (Frank Grillo) from getting his hands on a biological weapon backfires as Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) accidentally destroys a building in the vicinity which kills numerous Wakandan citizens. This incident makes Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr,) believe that they are better off if the accords are ratified, though Captain America (Chris Evans) thinks otherwise. Eventually the rest of the Avengers are forced to take sides & a full blown battle ensues between them. So was it the end of the famed Avengers???

As been the case in the previous Captain America movies, the Russo brothers has helmed this project as well. They have done a fantastic job aided by some inspiring screenplay & hilarious one liners by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely. The Russo duo ensured that their vision was aptly depicted onto the screen & also made sure that the entertainment quotient was in ample measure which was where the DC invariably faltered. Inspite of numerous characters, they made sure that everyone had adequate screen space without making it incomprehensible for the audience. On a personal note, I absolutely loved the Spiderman sequence & the final showdown. All the technical aspects were top notch & individually naming them will be a tedious task. This was undoubtedly one of the best ever superhero movie to have graced the screens.

In the performance department, Chris Evans & Robert Downey Jr. hogs majority of the screen space & as always they rocked. The same goes to the rest as well as each one of them made sure they gave their absolute best however brief their roles might have been.

Verdict: Less than a week into its release has seen it gross more than 3 times its investment & in all likelihood it would breach the billion dollar mark. It's an absolute entertainer be it in terms of the storyline, humour or action. In short, dont miss it at any cost as it's one hell of a joy ride in the theatre!!!

    Rating: 4/5

    Regards...Ben

Marvels’ Captain America: Civil War is a very good cinema film. It is one of the very most awaiting films of 2016 and like recent release Dawn of Justice this film too doesn’t fail and easily thrills a viewer’s admiration.
The story revolves in Nigeria where all the Avengers work on a mission which results in a huge destruction. A political pressure is on them since responsibility for their actions is expected. So, the UN intervenes and put all of them under a bureaucratic control. This forms a division between the Avengers - Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downy Jr). Captain America goes against the idea of arranging them to the government where on the other side Iron man is convinced that a control is required for them to function responsibly. Duo chooses to follow their own path and fight one another where Black Widow, Falcon, Hawkeye are forced to pick the sides. What will happen now?
The star cast of the film is at its very best level. All of them are phenomenal. The very interesting portion of the film is that it has a great support coming from the previous Avengers films. Reasoning between Captain America and Iron Man doesn’t seem shocking and is highly reasonable. Black Panther is a new one added here. He is appreciative and has a perfect reason too. Also Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) is fine and mediates the two opposing avengers. One negative I found in the film is its 2 and a half hour long run-time only. Still the directors (Anthony Russo, Joe Russo) easily manage to captivate and addict the viewer interest.
There is a very huge adrenaline rush one can get after watching this superhero masterly drama. It is one of the best Captain America films. Do watch it. I am going with 8 on 10.

Captain America:Civil War is directed by incredible Russo brothers who directed The Winter Soldier. Civil war looked like a different movie from all other marvel movies, it's interesting and engaging. Chris Evans as Captain america is good once again the character of Captain america is very well written and his ideologies and character moments worked perfectly. Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man knocked out of the park his internal conflict is very well executed and RDJ gave a very powerful and more matured performance. Coming to the action sequences they are well executed and it's worth our buck. The scripting is very well done especially the first 70 mins of the film is simply fantastic the screenplay is very unpredictable and even the characters like Bucky, Black panther and Zemo the villian shined in this film not because of their coolness but due to their grounded characterizations. The dialogues are very good and the humor worked very well. This is where i had the problem with this movie i thought humor in this movie is not so balanced, every joke worked perfectly but i think it changed the tone at the pre-climax of film. The airport fight scene is great but it worked just on the level of spectacle rather than human level. The teaming up of superheroes is very rushed and i don't know why hawkeye fights! Spiderman is good but i think that he distracted the movie slightly. The movie redeems itself with it's spectacular climax. On the whole Civil war is very good movie but it could have been a great film. It's bang our buck.
