Between the screenwriting and adaptation on screen, there is quite some lost, as the film ends up being a rather slow-paced dull narrative, instead of the edgy whodunit that it is originally intended to be. This could have been an edgy thriller, but it doesn't end up anywhere close to being that.

Apart from the nail 'biting' suspense and the thrilling moments, 2nd Half also guarantees some quality sleep even as the movie moves in a pace, probably much slower than a snail can go. The twist in the tale is when Anuradha takes the matter into her own hands to find the missing girl, but the film's slowest motion picture experience is only redeemed by the performances of Priyanka Upendra and the supporting cast.
