#Home

Home has its moments but not enough to justify its contrivances and bloated running time. While Indrans delivers an excellent performance with exquisitely controlled micro-emotions that invite both underestimation and sympathy, the film ultimately feels like a big missed opportunity.

Amazon Prime Video's latest Malayalam film #Home beautifully captures the ironies of the highly connected world and the dying culture of person-to-person interaction. Indrans is so natural in his role as a compassionate and forgiving father, and like a true hero, he never gives up on his son. In a way, it is as effective a film as The Great Indian Kitchen.

#Home is a must-watch entertainer that the whole family can laugh and cry happy-tears through together. The script definitely reigns supreme, with well-captured relationships and stirring moments that tug at your heartstrings in the final 20 minutes.
