Iraivan

The screenplay of Iraivan hardly leaves any breathing space and the solid performances manage to keep us on the edge of our seats for a significant part. Though there is a lot to laud about the film's technical departments, it is hard not to notice consistent issues in the dubbing and logical loopholes in the writing.

Iraivan is a well-made psycho thriller with powerful characters, but somehow the motive and the writing fall short of expectations.

Iraivan is strictly for the fans of the genre! The film is loaded with mindless violence and bloodbath that numb your mind after a while. The illogical screenplay leaves many questions answered and the emotional scenes barely work. Jayam Ravi is the only saving grace in this grim thriller.

Iraivan adheres to the weary, traditional formula of serial killer movies and ultimately lacks uniqueness or freshness, except for its distinct approach to depicting the murders and its unreserved display of graphic violence. In short, Iraivan is not just a forgettable movie; it's something that is best left unrecalled.
