The film does have a sweetness that grows on you and seasoned actors like Ram Kapoor and Madhoo add a dignity to their roles. The love birds Tusshar and Amrita are in sync with each other, but the film is so predictable and so long, it loses impact.

  • Love U…Mr Kalakaar, the latest offering from the Barjatyas is a sincere attempt to break away from their own self-imposed archaic formulas.

  • On the whole, Love U… Mr. Kalakaar! is a non-starter and looks so dated that it has nothing to merit a pick-up. It will therefore, bomb at the box-office.

On the whole, LOVE U… MR KALAKAAR! is antiquated and old-fashioned and therefore, doesn’t work.

This Kalakaar is ordinary and has nothing much to paint!

If you’re looking for a sugar-coated, sweet and idealistic love story then this would be one to watch. On the other hand, if what you’re after is a film which makes you fall in love, dance in the isles and cry happy tears then you will sadly be better off going elsewhere because you most definitely will not find that here!
