I recommend that you see Radha Krishna Jargalamudi and Kangana Ranaut's directorial 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi'- not because it ticks the checklists of patriotic nationalism in the republic month, but because is celebrates in impeccable fashion a woman dressed like a male warrior, riding a horseback, and fulfilling the duties of a woman. Rani Lakshmibai's resonance in modern times has been fully justified by Kangana Ranaut- who adds glory and feel to the great queen. She is why the film is feminist, and adds the extra half the film gets on my behalf. Sure the film is Kangana, Kangana and Kangana- and the reason why the film is somewhat problematic- but isn't it interesting, and arresting, to see an actress instead of an actor spattered across each and every frame of a film?

Expectations nearly completed, even though the music and action sequences are good but direction doesn't reach at level. At some point cinematography done at best level but most of the time scenes required more clarification and work. After all movie flows like a river and got more interest after interval. Kangna's acting is always a masterpiece but there are many characters playing role in movie who didn't focussed well. 6.2 out of 10

Movie is excellent. War sequences, costumes and visuals are very good. Kangana is in top notch form. Deserves national award.

Kangna never disappoints. She plays the like no one else could. Jhankari bai too great. All in all the movie instils a lot of emotions and patriotism. 😍

Kangana throws her whole heart and soul into portraying this fearless, selfless warrior. No one acts with such conviction, honesty, and valour as Kangana. Cannot even imagine the challenges she must have faced completing this movie physically, mentally. She perfectly executed those action/sword fighting sequences and the fierce battle scenes. I would have gladly followed her to the battle.

Now this is called acting and true talent. While watching it almost every scene gave me goosebumps af if was watching the real Queen of jhansi. I think this is the only movie in Bollywood which deserves 10/10...

Over all remarkably fine movie; emotions are captured amazingly well; impressive cinematography; good dialogues and very supporting cast performances; acting by Kangana is indescribable and in direction she did better than many of the mainstream Bollywood established directors. She had shown a very good potential of being better than a Sanjay Leela Bhansali and comparable to Mani Ratnam.

Manikarnika is a wonderful tribute to the glorious Rani of Jhansi, full of valour and love for motherland. Rani Lakshmi Hai is forever in the hearts of all Indians and we as Indian feel extremely proud when we hear her name. This movie captures the turbulent but awe inspiring life if the Rani, the difficulties she faced at home and outside, her steadfast devotion to the country and her bravery which has no bounds. She broke boundaries of the socjety and the inhibitions in the hearts of her people. Kangana does a fabulous job portraying her. One does not see Kangana on screen but Lakshmi bai herself. There is a feeling that the film could have offered more but I feel it is because of the unmatchable love and respect for Jhansi ki Rani we have in our hearts. The songs are a delight. There was one unnecessary dance number. But that can be clearing forgotten the second it is over and Kangana takes charge again.

This movie is a must watch, great great acting by kangana ranaut and cast .👍 , you know the film is great when it leaves a lasting impression on you . This film does that
