Masala Padam Reviews
Shiva manages to tickle your funny bones with his usual deadpan dialogue delivery style. Bobby breezes through his goon act once again. Lakshmy Devy though looks though a bit matured, is quite adequate in her role. Technically all the departments like camera, editing and music are just functional. The problem with the film is that it may have an interesting concept, but it errs in its execution thereby losing its sheen. Overall, the film can be enjoyed only in parts.
The film keeps you engrossed for most part and the director does make his point, but perhaps a stronger defense would have made the film more meaningful.
Watch Masala Padam if you’re interested in the debate between the film industry and critics. Technically, the cinematography of the film is also top-notch.
Masala Padam is yet another Tamil film where the idea is interesting but not the execution.
