• It’s a mish-mash alright. But it is also a successful, feelgood film. You’ll enjoy yourself as you watch it. Never mind that you’ll most probably forget it soon after you leave the darkened environs. And, hey, don’t forget to take the hankies along.

    The three young couples are lovey-dovey, but the way in which they come together for every dance number is rather irritating. Be it a dance for Holi, a jig to celebrate Valentine’s day or a mutual-confession-of-love dance, all three couples have to be present for the dance, with Shahrukh and Ash wafting around, looking very happy!

    Director Aditya Chopra is at his best when he is handling the two stars. The goings-on don’t get overdramatic even once in those scenes. Even the transition of the love stories in the initial reels is captivating. But Aditya should’ve realised the importance of the length ? what can be conveyed in two-and-a-half hours need not be stretched to three hours and thirty-six minutes. This kind of a length was just not required!
