'Srimanthudu' is another level mass. It has masala, fervor, and just everything that makes a hero movie a smashing box office success. It has superbly executed action and 'violins, violins' romance between the leads. But what's more, it has enough bang for your bucks. Mahesh Babu keeps the pace and grip absolutely tight in 'Srimanthudu'. Director Koratala Siva has directed a good mainstream film which has enough bang for your bucks. Well, it is one of the less non-Hindi enterprises I see, and it left me impressed to a great measure. While there is astoundingly staged drama, there is also some clunkiness. So that extra half star is just for Mahesh Babu's superb performance, which matches Shah Rukh Khan's in the movie 'Swades'. You should watch 'Srimanthudu' and know why mainstream filmmakers in Hindi cinema need a lot to learn.
