Continuing the over arching story of the Star wars saga, the story involves Rey (Ridley) fresh off her fight with Kylo Ren (Driver) travelling to a desolate planet in hopes of finding long lost Jedi Master Luke Skywalker (Hamill) to help the Resistance which is on the run from the diabolic first order, led by supreme leader Snoke (Serskis).

If you go to the cinema to be entralled, surprised and challenged as the audience, then this film might as well be the one for you. Rian Johnson manages to craft a film, which honours the star wars lore while also being a radical breakaway into new territory. Rey and Kylo Ren are given their due depth in the story with a bold twist on the characters of Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa, both recurring from the original trilogy.

The film has a distinctive visual style with the colour red being a prominent backdrop throughout. The cinematography and the practical effects seamlessly compliment the CGI effects giving the feel of a space epic. The performances of Daisy Ridley and Mark Hamill make a great Master and pupil chemistry. But the standout performance is given by Adma driver as the conflicted and unstable Kylo Ren who gives the impression of a pained villain with conviction. The film is easily the best star wars film since empire strikes back.

This movie was way to inappropriate to show for my 10 year old daughter. I had to take her out of the theater because of the sexual connections from the Asian lady and The black guy, also the people in the Theater were being way to rude! they were constatantly telling me to turn off my phone when I wanted to take a picture to show my girl friends that I was watching star wars, Finally I can say don't show this to your daughter and don't waste your money to be called mean things by the viewers in the audience.
