Allison Brooks Janney is an American actress. A seven-time Primetime Emmy Award winner for her television work, her first four Emmy wins were for her role as C. J. Cregg on the NBC drama The West Wing . In 2014, she won the Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Margaret Scully on the Showtime series Masters of Sex.
