William "Bill" Paxton was an American actor and film director. The films in which he appeared include The Terminator , Weird Science , Aliens , Predator 2 , True Lies , Apollo 13 , Twister , Titanic , U-571 , Edge of Tomorrow and Nightcrawler . Paxton also starred in the HBO drama series Big Love . In 2013, he received an Emmy Award nomination for his performance in the miniseries Hatfields & McCoys.
