Jyothika

Jyothika Saravanan is an Indian former actress who predominantly appeared in Tamil films. She also acted in a few Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi films. She gained critical acclaim for her performances in Kushi, Perazhagan, Chandramukhi and Mozhi, winning one Filmfare and three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. She is also a recipient of the Kalaimamani award. She is cited by actors, Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Vijay as the best actress in the world. Jyothika married co-actor Suriya in September 2006 after being engaged in a relationship for several years. Since then, she has been inactive in the film industry till 2014 when she confirmed to be making a comeback in the movie 36 Vayadhinile.
