Lucas Hedges

Lucas Hedges is an American actor. The son of writer-director Peter Hedges, he studied theatre at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. He has played supporting roles in Wes Anderson's comedy-drama Moonrise Kingdom , the crime biopic Kill the Messenger , the coming-of-age film Lady Bird , and the crime film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri . For playing a sardonic teenage orphan in Kenneth Lonergan's drama Manchester by the Sea , Hedges received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
