Shobu Yarlagadda is an Indian American film producer, and the son-in-law of veteran film maker K. Raghavendra Rao. He is the co-founder and CEO of Arka Mediaworks, a film production company known for its works exclusively in Telugu cinema. Shobhu has garnered the National Film Award, two state Nandi Awards, two Filmfare South Awards. In 2015, Shobhu produced Baahubali: The Beginning, which recorded the highest grossing Indian film within India. Touted to be the most expensive Indian film, the film was featured in the BBC's documentary on 100 Years of Indian cinema.
