Overall, what could have been a strong film, well-researched, stimulating and perhaps hard-hitting film, ends up as a poorly executed court room spectacle sans any drama.
-
Bhoomi could have been a much greater achievement if it had avoided all the familiar stereotypes of rape-and-revenge dramas. But Agra, and the Dutt-Rao chemistry save the day and elevate the film to a superior show of strength where a rapist is not allowed to get away with a sickeningly sexist statement such as this: “Women get raped all the time. Why did you have to get so worked up?”

Newton shakes us up in ways that are not visible to the naked eye.
-
Kingsman: The Golden Circle is a decent comic book-esque action packed film.
-
It looks so unrehearsed so spontaneous….just like the film where the characters probably existed long before the writer and director thought about them. We just didn’t know or care.
-
Overall, sans the thrilling factor, this hard boiled heist comedy, is unconvincing and difficult to digest.
-
I would call it a tour de force but for the abject absence of flamboyance in the presentation.
-
Technically, sound and made with moderate production values the film offers a convincing appeal. The background score by composer Amar Mohile and the songs choreographed by Ganesh Acharya add life to the jamboree.
-
This is a brave and bright film with its heart in the right place and its gaze refreshingly free of a gender bias fixed firmly at the crotch level.

So pretentious and hammy are the actors it would be an insult to good taste to call them actors
