• Though Lakshmy’s attempt is laudable, one can’t help but feel that the narration could have been better.

  • Thus with an ensemble cast and a solid production team, the end product of Poojai is firm in its standing and assured in its functionality. But some aspects of the initial architecture could have used with a bit of innovation.

  • Aided by his entire cast and technical department, breaking the myth that promising debut filmmakers may not fare in their next, Karthik Subbaraj clearly proves that he is here to stay! A film not to be missed!.

  • Shiva manages to tickle your funny bones with his usual deadpan dialogue delivery style. Bobby breezes through his goon act once again. Lakshmy Devy though looks though a bit matured, is quite adequate in her role. Technically all the departments like camera, editing and music are just functional. The problem with the film is that it may have an interesting concept, but it errs in its execution thereby losing its sheen. Overall, the film can be enjoyed only in parts.
