A valiant effort, Yahaan Sabki Lagi Hai tries to connect with young adults. With some amazing shots and some unique music, the film tries to tell a message. Watch this movie with some friends and you might enjoy the madness.

…delivers knockout blows and finally we have an action film without the existential drama that most of them seem to exude. Taron and Colin Firth are a wonderful team. One is the young disciple who needs training and the other, the master-spy. Kingsman: The Secret Service is a glorious collection of everything good about spy films and none of the political correctness. In the end, you will walk out of the theatre feeling like a gentleman spy. How awesome is that?

A compelling human story about grief, pain, hope and happiness. This movie brings all of this together. Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern are amazing in their respective roles. Jean-Marc Vallee has delivered a movie that fills you with a warm glow. This is a story that should be emulated by all.

Flat, dull and devoid of emotion…The locations are beautiful whenever they are in focus. Lily Collins is okay on the eyes. And for the girls, we have ripped guys. It is passable for a Valentine’s Day film, if you don’t have any other plans.

Seventh Son has some really nice special effects. Shot in picturesque locales, you are invited to a world of fantasy. It makes for a refreshing change because you get to see good triumph over evil. Jeff Bridges does his bit, but he ain’t the Dude in this one. All in all, a weekend watch.
-
Foxcatcher is one of those films that need to be seen. You get to see powerhouse acting from Steve Carell. In fact, he has been nominated multiple times for his performance. The dynamics between Tatum, Ruffalo and Carell also keep you captivated. Foxcatcher isn’t just a sports film, it’s a showcase of relationships and human nature.

Big Eyes gets you right in the soul. It is a remarkable story that shocked the whole world, and not just the world of art. You are shown a world before instant fame. It talks about the price of being famous. In the end, it shows us that good art is honest and true to the soul of the artist. Tim Burton makes us believe in the Big Eyes.

Unbroken is one of those movies that tell a story about a man and his spirit. That is the biggest reason to watch this movie. To quibble over the way the story is told is fine. But you need to remember that these stories have to be heard and told, so that you remember the men and women whose sacrifices kept the darkness away. Watch the movie and try to think about the true cost of war. That should give you pause.

The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death is one of those films that you can watch and then brag about later. There isn’t much thinking to do. As a one-time watch, this film is perfect. Watch this film over the weekend and you can add another film to your horror movie list.

This Is Where I Leave You deals with a family and death. That is a topic that makes for somber watching. There are points though, where you will have a smirk on your face. In certain places you will feel for the characters and then in a moment, the connection is lost. Tina Fey and Jane Fonda are a treat to watch. Jason Bateman does his best as the man who is trying to reconcile with his loss and the state of his life. In the end, the movie makes you feel something. However, that feeling is rare and that’s the pity. In the end, it’s just another formulaic comedy-drama.
