A perfect package of emotions, action, location and music along with everyone’s performance is the perfect Diwali gift you can give yourself and your family this weekend.

If you enjoyed Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible, Edge of Tomorrow and Knight and Day, Jack Reacher is based on similar lines. You may have seen Cruise do the same a thousand times before, but his over-the-top action and nonchalant personality usually make for good entertainment. So go watch this one!

Watch it for the gripping narration as the director gives you robust zombie flick. If you are sucker for the undead, you should certainly not miss this as this one is like a breath of fresh air.
-
This film takes you back to 1984 and shows you what happened after the assassination of the Prime Minister in a less gory way. Some of you may be able to relate to the incidents, while for others, it will be an enlightening walk back through history.

Ben Affleck rocks it with changing between a common accountant who is brilliant and a trained assassin who is equally brilliant. Watch it for all the answers to the questions and all the solutions to the puzzles. Everything is so well-made that you won’t go home with any pending questions!

Despite loopholes in the script, what manages to keep the audience engaged is undoubtedly the spontaneity with which the three actors – Manoj Bajpayee, Kay Kay Menon and Vijay Raaz – deliver their dialogues. The well-thought-out punchlines seem to work for the most of the time, if not always. They do exactly what you think they should – they make you laugh.

The film leaves you with many ‘ifs & buts’. If only the story and screenplay were richer. If only the characters were more three-dimensional. If only the last two films hadn’t set such a high standard. But that was not to be.

Beiimaan Love is one of the better films in the adult-thriller genre. Sunny Leone gives it her best shot and it is a welcome change to see the actress do more than just shed her clothes. Watch it if you are bored and have nothing much to do this weekend.

A real, touching and humble story, Queen of Katwe is a ray of light. If inspiring biopics are your choice of films, this one will not disappoint you and definitely is a must-watch.

Mirzya is not for everyone. It’s a slow, musical drama that will only be appreciated by fans of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s films. Forgive Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s overindulgence, and go watch it for the newcomers, who make a fantastic first impression.
