Marketed as a Valentine's Day treat, audiences can expect to be mildly entertained by the surface-level intimate scenes in Wuthering Heights that only leave you thirsty for the real, raw passion. If you grew up reading and dissecting the novel, you may be disappointed to know that Fennel doesn't do justice to the rich layering, ambiguity and interpretation of the character arc in the original.

If you are willing to spare four hours of your day on a spy action thriller, this is a film that will surprise, shock and overwhelm you with its nervous energy. Despite its A rating and extremely violent portrayal of events, there is nothing that will stop this film from becoming one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.

Dhadak 2 deserves to be celebrated, watched, and streamed in as many theatres in India and abroad so more people, including the less privileged, find the courage to live and tell their truth.

Dhanush deserves credit for imagining a visually rich, edgy action thriller which is enhanced by a fascinating background score from A R Rahman. What also lets down Raayan is the failure to turn an ordinary revenge story into something extraordinary that we haven't seen before. Overall, Raayan is an interesting one-time watch written for the masses with a little meat here and there for the critics to bite on.

Vineeth Sreenivasan deserves applause for striving to blend the past with the present and revoking your memories. While Venu and Murali are clearly not your affable Vijayan and Dasan, the film's second half picks up pace with ample laughs, though the first half suffers from a slow burn and the lead actors fail to flesh out their characters adequately.
