With such a bold subject which is relatable to every student and parent, ‘Hindi Medium’ is not that typical film in the curriculum of Bollywood cinema and kudos to the many positive factors which consist it. With stellar performances, interesting subject depicting the hard-core dark truth of the country’s education system, you will not be disappointed while returning from theatres. It will definitely make you re-think about the need of education in today’s era. So go get your admission forms (movie tickets) from the theatres near you and get yourself admitted to this hindi medium school without being sceptical.

Well I have not read Chetan Bhagat’s novel, but even if you have read it, I guess this movie offers a refreshing twist to it. With Mohit Suri’s direction, this Arjun Kapoor-Shraddha Kapoor starrer somehow fails to impress, the reasons best known to the director and the author of the novel as well. It’s a typical Bollywood movie and deserves a one-time watch this weekend. Go watch it with your girlfriend but not ‘half’ right?
-
With an all new fresh pairing of Ayushmann and Parineeti, fantastic songs, good story-line and lots of funny moments, the film deserves a watch this weekend. Witness the magical relationship and reminisce yours with this cute couple in the theatres near you.

Though the film boasts of a stellar starcast and a storyline which would been much more crispier, Amitabh Bachchan is that knight in the shining armour which saves the film from ruining it further.
-
The film is a complete surprise package with all the required elements. Royal starcast, majestic and massive sets, crispy story-line filled with many more surprises and much more. A serious note to all those who are going for this movie this weekend, that you are not allowed to blink your eyes for a single second as you will definitely miss something. Go and get your one of a lifetime experience this weekend.

Overall it’s a good film to watch with ferocious acting by Vidya, stellar performances of the other starcast, perfect direction and a musical treat by the legendary singers, but definitely not meant for timid hearted people. So all you brave hearts don’t just sit at home this weekend, but make your way to the theatres to witness the partition era again. Just don’t give this a miss!!!

As they say ‘Beauty lies in simplicity,’ Rahul Bose’s ‘Poorna’ is as simple as its characters and much more beautiful. With no big actors(except Rahul), quintessential acting and loads of motivational and inspirational stuff, the film is a must watch. You will surely not be disappointed with this one and will return home with a new perspective towards life.

‘Naam Shabana’ offers a fair treat in the form of the actors but somewhere fails to leave its mark like the sequel. The slow pace of the story-line and the dialogues can be blamed for this let down. Filled with action and only action, the film is highly recommended ONLY for all the ardent followers of Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu as well. And of course for the vivid fans of the sequel ‘Baby.’

A never-seen-before love story, ‘Phillauri’ offers the viewers a quintessential rom-com. So this weekend, grab your popcorns and re-live your love story with Shashi!

The film is a full on masala entertainer with powerful acting by the actors, groovy songs, funny dialogues and marvellous chemistry, a typical Karan Johar film with Shashank Khaitan’s special touch to it. This Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer surely delivers a thunderous Holi blockbuster.
